The back yard of this 200 year old corner house was the perfect environment for indoor plants that also love to be in a shadey spot, outdoors. The client was very passionate for an exterior space that she could be proud of which complemented the rest of the house. The interior elements are the perfect balance of cosy yet contemporary, with pieces from all over the globe. Firstly, we opted to give the existing floor a clean slate with a concrete finish, together with a new brass light fitting and a few touch ups that aesthetically improved the small space.

Some features of the yard include a beautiful wall-hung piece of wrought iron, which was re-worked into a feature that hangs above the stylish furniture set. We chose a variety of colourfully glazed pots to go with the proposed plants, some of which are Ficus Lyrata, Kentia Palm and Farfugium japonicum.
