The incredible vista of a Mediterranean woodland made for the perfect backdrop for this newly built family home. This scale of landscape design allows the opportunity to evidently combine hard landscaping with the softer side. Connecting pockets of spaces that open up into large areas for entertainment makes for a curious and attractive living experience surrounded by country side. Our proposal involves the exterior space as an extension of the home, by making it comfortable for more than a few guests to enjoy different parts of the garden. Beginning the project with Zoning, we allocated areas for peace and recreation, by proposing a mini woodland that would be linked up by a footpath. Recommended plants for this particular site include Phormium tenax, Rosmarinus officinalis Prostratus (Creeping Rosemary), Cupressus sempervirens, Gaura lindheimeri and Cortaderia selloana.
